Pediatric physical therapy

Pediatric physiotherapists work with children and youth of all ages to asses and treat various musculoskeletal, congenital, developmental and growth-related conditions.

At Expanding Horizons, we realize that each child is unique in their own way. Therefore, we work closely with children and their families to develop an appropriate treatment plan based on their specific goals, hobbies and interests.

During the initial assessment, we complete a comprehensive analysis of each child’s motor development, strength, balance, flexibility, gait and posture. Your physiotherapist will use this information to develop an individualized treatment plan that focuses on improving development, independence and participation in daily activities. Our pediatric physiotherapy sessions consist of play-based exercise programs that focus on improving functional goals in a fun and interactive atmosphere.
