Nadine Lamoureux
MSW, RSW, Psychotherapist
Nadine is a bilingual Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing therapy, crisis intervention, and support to children, youth, and families during some of life’s most challenging moments. Since earning her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Ottawa in 2013, she has worked in various roles within the Mental Health Department at CHEO, developing a deep understanding of the importance of strong therapeutic relationships.
Nadine’s approach is warm, down-to-earth, and grounded in empathy. She is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. She works from a trauma-informed, attachment-based, and anti-oppressive lens, adapting her interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
At Expanding Horizons Therapy, Nadine welcomes individuals from all walks of life and has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent clients and those who have experienced trauma. She is passionate about making therapy accessible and collaborative, always meeting people where they’re in their journey. Whether supporting clients through anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, or major life transitions, Nadine brings flexibility, curiosity, and compassion to every session.
Outside of work, Nadine is a proud mom to two energetic boys who keep her on her toes! She recharges by knitting, connecting with friends, and attempting to start her mornings with a 6 a.m. workout.
En tant que franco-ontarienne, Nadine comprend l’importance de pouvoir parler de ses émotions dans sa langue maternelle et sera ravie de vous accompagner en français si vous le souhaitez.
