Marcela Mansure, MScOT Reg. (Ont.)

Marcela completed both her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science (Occupational Therapy) and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at McGill University. She is licensed to practice by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and provides services in English, French, and Portuguese.

Marcela has experience working with clients across the lifespan in a variety of settings. Her pediatric experience includes working in schools, community-based programs, pediatric acute care, and private practice. She has also worked with adults in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation, including stroke rehabilitation. These diverse experiences have given Marcela a broad understanding of the many factors that can influence a person’s ability to participate in everyday activities at different stages of life.

Marcela has a particular interest in supporting children and families with developmental milestones, gross and fine motor development, sensory processing, self-regulation, self-care and independence, and cognitive development. She takes a collaborative and individualized approach, working alongside clients and their families to identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies that can be incorporated into daily routines and activities.

Marcela is also an Authorizer with the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), where she assists eligible clients in accessing mobility devices to support safety, mobility, and participation in their daily lives.

Outside of her work as an occupational therapist, Marcela enjoys playing volleyball, staying active, travelling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
