Delaney Halpenny,
MClSci, Speech-Language Pathologist

Delaney is a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who grounds her practice in connection, collaboration, and compassion. She holds a Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Western University and previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics at Carleton University.

Delaney is committed to creating a welcoming space where clients and their families feel seen, safe, and supported throughout their time in the clinic and beyond. She takes a client-affirming approach to therapy by empowering and supporting clients to create communication goals that reflect what matters most to them and feels most authentic to who they are.

Delaney acknowledges and celebrates each client’s uniqueness, and she tailors her practice to build on the client’s current strengths and areas where support may be helpful. She is dedicated to advocating for her clients and their communication needs, so they can meaningfully participate in everyday life, including at school, in home, and during activities they enjoy.

Delaney has experience in supporting toddlers, children, and teens with a variety of communication goals, including neurodivergent clients and individuals with speech sound disorders, motor speech disorders, fluency disorders, and developmental language disorders. She has a special interest in supporting early language development.

Outside of the clinic, Delaney enjoys family game nights, watching sunsets, golfing with friends, and spending time with her pup, Scooter.
