Amelia Hamilton,
Occupational Therapist

Hi there, I’m Amelia! I'm an Occupational Therapist dedicated to helping people of all ages and stages engage in their unique and meaningful activities. I’m very grateful to be in a profession that so closely aligns with my personal and professional beliefs. My academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, both from Queen's University.

My clinical experience is diverse, encompassing school, hospital, and community-based settings. This has allowed me to develop clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, mental health, and environmental areas of practice, working with both children and adult populations. In my pediatric OT practice experience, primary focuses have included goals such as self-regulation, fine and gross motor skills, and sensory processing, while delivering services in a fun and engaging way to maximize client progress. Prior to becoming an OT, I have always had a passion working with young people through roles such as a camp counselor and city program instructor, where I helped children and youth of all abilities participate in enjoyable activities.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy cooking, baking, painting, music, hiking, fitness, sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.

I look forward to collaborating with new clients and families to create personalized OT plans that are fun and meaningful to support growth, goal achievement, and lasting changes!
