Phoebe,
Therapy Dog Candidate

Phoebe is our new therapy dog candidate! She is mild mannered and loves to participate in therapy sessions. She is learning to read social cues and adapt her approach to each individual she meets. She is loving her training and is adapting to the clinic well. All she asks for is a belly rub from time to time and a delicious treat!

For some individuals, using a pet as part of the therapeutic process can be very beneficial to their mental health. When partaking in therapy sessions, therapy dogs have the potential to encourage communication, lessen depression, provide comfort, decrease anxiety, reduce self-consciousness, reduce agitation and increase focus.

In her spare time, Phoebe enjoys playing with her sister Millie, going for long walks and snuggling on her heated blanket.

Please let your clinician know if you are interested in having Phoebe attend your upcoming session!
