Autism Speaks Canada Walk 2020

Expanding Horizons Occupational Therapy will once again be walking in the Autism Speaks Canada Walk on Sunday, May 31st, 2020!

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to meet with members of our community and share information about our services while walking as a team to raise funds for Autism Speaks Canada.

Psycho-Sensory Processing Intervention Workshop

Four of our brilliant occupational therapists attended the Psycho-Sensory Processing Intervention workshop with Kim Barthel in Montreal! This workshop focused on attachment, developmental trauma & sensory processing. They had such an informative and fun 3 days!


Little Kickers Promotion

If you are a client of Expanding Horizons Occupational Therapy your child receives a free uniform with enrolment! They offer ‘rolling enrolment’ which means you can sign up any time! Simply pick a date that works for you and let them know.

The Little Kickers soccer program has been designed specifically to meet the developmental needs of The Early Years (ages 1.5 - 7 years). Their aim is to provide a positive introduction to sport and build the foundation for a lifelong healthy lifestyle through the power of PLAY and with buckets of FUN!

Children learn goals in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage including valuable concepts such as teamwork, listening, sharing, taking turns, understanding of colours, numbers, parts of the body and of course the fundamentals of soccer.

Little Kickers Ottawa provide soccer sessions in a variety of locations across the city all year round; they play indoors in the Winter and outdoors in the Summer.

Expanding Horizons Occupational Therapy will be sharing a booth with Speech-Language Ottawa at the Autism Speaks Canada Walk on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019.

We are thrilled to be sharing information with the community about our services and walk as a team to raise funds for Autism Speaks Canada.

Autism Speaks Canada wishes to increase understanding, acceptance and inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder, advance innovative research, and make connections to lifelong services and supports for the autism community.
