Certified Therapy Dog and CEO
Sivah is an eleven year old Labrador Retriever. She is mild mannered and loves to participate in OT sessions. She is great at reading social cues and adapts her approach to each child or adolescent’s personality and needs. Sivah truely loves her work and all she asks for is a belly rub from time to time and or a delicious treat.
For some individuals, using a pet as part of the therapeutic process can be very beneficial to their mental health. When partaking in therapy sessions, therapy dogs have the potential to encourage communication, lessen depression, provide comfort, decrease anxiety, reduce self-consciousness, reduce agitation and increase focus.
