Occupational Therapist
Mila obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree at Queen’s University. Prior to this, she completed her Honours Bachelor with a Major in Child and Youth Studies and a Minor in French Studies at Brock University. Mila is licensed by the College of Occupational Therapy and she holds membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.
Mila is passionate about the right to fully engage and participate in your life. She is dedicated to providing a compassionate, safe and fun environment with appropriate resources and strategies that individuals can apply in their everyday lives. Mila has experience working with children, youth and adults in a variety of settings including hospitals, private practice, rehab and community settings. She values the relationships and connections occupational therapy provides and she is excited to help children and their families create foundations for optimal development.
In her spare time, Mila enjoys spending time her dog Rusty, rock climbing, camping, being outdoors and travelling!
She has training and experience in various areas of pediatric occupational therapy, including:
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training
- Splinting
