Meghan Lau, MScOT Reg. (Ont.)

Occupational Therapist

Meghan obtained her Master of Science in Occupational therapy degree at Queen’s
University. Prior to this, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences at the
University of Ottawa. Meghan is licensed by the College of Occupational Therapists of
Ontario.

Meghan is a creative and enthusiastic OT who strives to help individuals engage more
fully in their daily occupations. She has worked with a wide range of age groups in
different practice areas, such as in hospital and community settings, to provide OT
services to people with various conditions. She has a special interest in working with
pediatrics in the areas of fine motor skills, learning disabilities, and sensory processing.
In her spare time, Meghan enjoys spending time with family and friends, making jewelry,
playing piano and violin, and doing crafts.


Meghan has training in various areas of OT including:

  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
