Occupational Therapist

Sonia graduated from McMaster University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Before pursuing her Master’s, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics at Carleton University. Sonia has always been passionate about working with children and finds joy in helping them reach their full potential. She brings an enthusiastic and creative approach to her work, focusing on making therapy sessions engaging and meaningful. Sonia has gained valuable experience in a variety of settings, including acute care, community adult care, private practice pediatrics, and working within a children’s health centre in the autism program.

Sonia welcomes the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population ready to see clients of all needs and abilities. She enjoys collaborating with families to create individualized treatment plans that support each child’s unique needs and goals. Sonia believes in the importance of a supportive and nurturing therapeutic environment, where children can feel safe and motivated to explore and grow. Outside of work, Sonia enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, and playing board games.
